Five things German shoppers check before they trust a product page

German buyers are not 'hard to please'. They're methodical. Here's the checklist they're running while your analytics call it a bounce.

1. Is the price the price?

VAT-inclusive, no surprises at checkout. A price that changes late is a broken promise.

2. What exactly am I getting?

Concrete materials, dimensions, care instructions. Superlatives read as evasion; specifics read as honesty.

3. What if it doesn't work?

A returns policy that names the cost, the window and the process. 'No-hassle returns' says nothing; '30 Tage kostenlose Rückgabe' says everything.

4. Does it fit my life?

EU sizes, metric units, delivery times in working days. Every conversion you make them do is a chance to leave.

5. Who is behind this?

An Impressum, a real address, a tone that sounds like a company rather than a campaign. Trust in Germany is infrastructural, not emotional.
